William D. Ruwe, Psy.D., Ph.D.
Clinical Neuropsychologist and Owner of NeuroResources, PLLC
William D. Ruwe, Psy.D., Ph.D., obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience/Physiological Psychology from Purdue University. Additionally, Dr. Ruwe completed a Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) with specialty training in Clinical Neuropsychology at George Fox University. After completing a one-year Internship in Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology at Western State Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, he completed a two-year postdoctoral Residency in Neuropsychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dr. Ruwe has been involved in Neuroscience research for 27 years, including more than 15 years of experience as a faculty member of medical colleges and graduate schools. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Oklahoma (#883), his clinical interests include general adult neuropsychology, geropsychology, and forensic psychology.
Leanne M. Buttross, Ph.D.
Leanne M. Buttross, Ph.D., obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Neuropsychology, from California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California. After completing a one-year Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto, Ontario, she completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in the Neuropsychology Clinic at INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Oklahoma (#985), Dr. Buttross’s primary clinical interests include adult and geriatric neuropsychology, with an emphasis on memory problems and disorders of aging.
Debbie Winters, M.A.
Clinic Coordinator and Office Manager
Debbie Winters, M.A., received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She obtained her Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of San Francisco. Ms. Winters worked for 10 years handling customer service issues and 18 years at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in medical education. She has maintained her current position for the past four years. Ms. Winters is responsible for managing referrals, coordinating scheduling with patients and their family members, and handling insurance verification procedures. She is also available to provide information and answer questions regarding daily clinic activities.
Neuropsychological Technicians (Full-time)
We have one full-time technician on our staff. She has a Master's degree and 26 years of experience in neuropsychological and psychological testing. She is well-versed in working with patients with special needs and with a variety of testing procedures.
The pre-doctoral interns are responsible for completing a minor (half-time) Neuropsychology rotation. Their rotation may include conducting clinical interviews, cognitive screening, inpatient and outpatient assessments (neuropsychological, intellectual, personality, projective, and psychosocial), individual psychotherapy, and consultation (based on referrals from psychiatrists, neurologists, primary care physicians, psychologists, attorneys, vocational rehabilitation specialists, and rehabilitation therapists). The intern is responsible for completing at least one assessment per week, including clinical and collateral interviews, testing, and report writing.
